The seven energy centres without complicated terms: what each chakra is responsible for, what blocks it and how to help yourself.
The word “chakra” comes from an ancient Indian language and means wheel. It is the name given to the energy centres in the human body. Many complicated books have been written about them, but in this text I want to put it simply: what they mean in everyday life and why energy sometimes seems to get stuck in them.
The seven centres in brief
The root chakra at the base of the spine is linked to a sense of safety, solid ground under your feet, money and home.
The sacral chakra in the lower abdomen is linked to the joy of life, creativity and intimacy.
The solar plexus chakra above the navel is linked to self-confidence and willpower.
The heart chakra in the middle of the chest is linked to love, forgiveness and connection with others.
The throat chakra is linked to the ability to speak and express yourself.
The third eye chakra between the eyebrows is linked to intuition and clear thinking.
The crown chakra at the top of the head is linked to a connection with something greater than ourselves.
Why chakras get blocked
Energy gets stuck where we hold on for a long time to what we do not let go of. Fear about the future or money is often felt as insecurity, a lack of ground beneath you. An unforgiven hurt weighs on the chest. Unspoken words that we swallow year after year seem to clog the throat. Guilt and shame take away self-confidence.
External things add to this too: other people’s heavy thoughts, envy directed at you, or the spot in your home where you sleep every day. In my experience, balance is most often upset by fears, geopathic zones and heavy thoughts.
How it can show up
Blocked energy rarely shows up as one clear symptom. More often it is a feeling that some area of life “isn’t working”: relationships keep falling apart, it is hard to say what you think, you constantly feel insecure even when everything is fine. If physical symptoms appear, see a doctor first. Bioenergy healing complements medical help, but it does not replace it.
What you can do yourself
You do not need to know the names of all the chakras to help yourself. Notice which area of life feels stuck. If you lack grounding, walk more, spend time in nature, look after your daily rhythm. If a hurt weighs on you, try writing it down or telling someone you trust. If it is hard to speak up, start small: say “no” where you used to stay silent. Calm breathing and a few minutes of silence a day help more than you might think.
A simple exercise you can try in the evening: sit comfortably, close your eyes and breathe calmly for a few minutes. In your mind, move from your feet to the top of your head and notice where in your body you feel tension, heaviness or cold. Do not change anything, just notice. After a few evenings you will see that tension often gathers in the same places. That is a good clue as to which area your energy is most stuck in. If, instead of calm, this exercise brings on strong anxiety, do not force it, and talk to a specialist instead.
Also, do not rush to “diagnose” yourself from books or the internet. Chakras are not separate switches. They are connected to one another, so one problem often shows up in several places.
How I work
During diagnostics I look for where energy no longer flows and what is holding it back: fear, guilt, someone else’s energy or an unfavourable spot in the home. Then I remove these causes and restore balance. I work with a dowsing rod and massage, in person or remotely from a photo.
If you want to understand what is happening in your case, give me a call. The first conversation is free, and we can meet at the studio in Kaišiadorys or work remotely.

Through diagnosis I help you understand the causes of feeling unwell and of repeated setbacks. During correction your original inner state is restored: anxiety, fear and heaviness simply let go.
